Challenge
Working with global leadershipe we were asked to build a program to accelerate innovation and tackle specific operational challenges across its various business units by leveraging external expertise and technology partnerships.
Solution
We designed and piloted an open innovation program, focusing on defining market opportunities, sourcing, and vetting technology partners. The process included intensive collaboration sessions, problem definition workshops, and development of a tailored incubation plan for selected tech companies.
Result
The program successfully facilitated multiple partnerships with tech companies, leading to innovative solutions that are currently being scaled. We identified more than 20 opportunities and vetted dozens of potential startups & tech partners before selecting two projects to take forward. This initiative not only enhanced SHV’s competitive edge but also established a repeatable model for continuous innovation across its portfolio.
